Neuchâtel

Located between Lake Neuchâtel and the Jura Mountains, the city of Neuchâtel faces towards the Alps and bridges the gap between the Swiss Plateau and the curve of the Jura. This French-speaking city is close to the border with the German-speaking part of Switzerland. Its medieval town centre, castle and 12th-century collegiate church endow the city with a unique charm.

Neuchâtel has a number of higher-level institutions including a university, several specialist hautes écoles and an electronics and microtechnology research centre.

The course centre

SLC courses are held in the establishment that was formerly the “Eurotel” hotel and is now occupied by the IHTTI hotel management school run by the Swiss Education Group. Renovated in 2005, the hotel is a stone’s throw from the town centre. Public sporting facilities are located a few minutes’ walk away and are also accessible by public transport.

Accommodation

Students are accommodated in single or standard/deluxe double rooms.
Accommodation in a standard double room is included in the cost of the course.
A supplement is charged for deluxe or individual rooms (see price list).

Facilities

Modern classrooms, a computer room with internet connection, reception area, the “les Amis” and “Chatterbox” cafeterias, the “Coffee Beans” café, wireless internet, fitness room.
