The language camp’s excursions

Discover the “Suisse Romande”! Every week you can go on two half-day excursions plus an all-day Saturday excursion, all of which are included in the course fees. For even more trips you can use your “Hot Sports Bonus”.
With this kind of diversity you’ll surely not get bored during your stay in western Switzerland.

Saturday excursion

The Saturday excursions are included in the course fees. Destinations vary depending upon the study centre.

Afternoon excursion

Every week students can participate on a free trip by coach to destinations in the region. There is a large choice of destinations ranging from shopping trips in Vevey and Lausanne to sightseeing trips or a ride in a cable car. On a second afternoon we invite all participants to join us on a fun trip to the Aquaparc or Bellerive Beach in Bouveret.

Additional Excursions

If you'd like to participate in additional excursions, you can use the credits of your “Hot Sports Card”.

Fun Planet

Another big hit with our students is “Fun Planet”, an entertainment park in nearby Villeneuve. Participants from can use their credits on the “Hot Sports Bonus” to pay for activities like go-carting, bowling, arcade games, simulators, wall climbing and a variety of live entertainment.

Payments:

Currency:

Prices are given in CHF and payment should be made in this currency.
Bank charges are not covered by SLC.

Enrolment Fees:

CHF 100.- for each enrolment. The Enrolment fee of CHF 100.- is not charged for siblings.

Cancellations:

Cancellations will be accepted only up to 8 weeks prior to the start of the course by registered mail. An administrative charge of CHF 300.- shall apply. For cancellations less than 8 weeks before course commencement 50% of the fees will be charged.

Min. Numbers:

SLCreserves the right to cancel a programme should the minimum number of students not be reached. SLC would in such a case offer alternative options or a refund.

Behavior/Expulsion:

Students are expected to comply with all SLC rules and regulations. SLC reserves the right to send any student home or to his/her parents or guardian if the student, in the opinion of SLC, is incompatible with the general well-being of the camp through his/her negligence of said rules and regulations. In this case, all extra travel costs would be ther esponsibility of the parent or guardian and no refund of camp fees would be considered.

Activities:

SLC will not be held responsible for any extracurricular activities undertaken by students out of school-hours.

Health/Accident Insurance:

All students need to have a valid health/accident insurance coveringmedical needs in Switzerland. A copy of the student’s insurance shouldbe sent to SLC upon enrolment. Students without valid health/accident insurance or not complying to the above will be insured by SLC with a Swiss insurance at an extra cost of CHF 45.-/week. A deductible of CHF100.- will apply.
