Summer Camps

SLC has over 20 years experience in organising summer language camps in Switzerland combining an excellent language education with a wide range of leisure, sports and sightseeing activities.

We offer high quality summer programmes, headed by a highly motivated and experienced team in our two newly renovated course centres in Leysin and Montreux. Here we combine intensive language lessons in the morning with varied sports,leisure and excursion programme in the afternoon and evening.

The Leysin location, half an hour away from Lake Geneva, is suitable for participants from ten to seventeen years of age. Our Montreux centre caters to more mature participants of fourteen to eighteen years of age. Our centres offer the option to study English, French or German.

The SLC “Hot Sports Card” allows our students to participate in a variety of sports and leisure activities and additional excursions. The pass -with a weekly bonus of CHF 40.— is already included in the course fee.

In addition to the full-day Saturday excursion and the two weekly half-day excursions, we offer one admission every second week to the Aquaparc in Le Bouveret on the shore of Lake Geneva.

Renovated in 2004-2006,both course centres have excellent infrastructures with modern classrooms, nice double and single guest rooms with shower/toilet and a large variety of leisure facilities.

Both course centres have also gained a reputation for their excellent catering since their re-opening. A team of professional cooks prepares three buffets(breakfast, lunch and dinner) from Monday to Friday, brunch and dinner on the weekends. Barbecues and special theme nights offer even more diversity. All meals are included in the course fees.
