Summer Camp Locations: Montreux and Leysin, Switzerland

The Swiss Language Club camps take place in one of Switzerland’s most beautiful regions: Montreux’s peaceful lakeside or Leysin’s nice calm mountain area.

On both sites, student may benefit from a nice and calm environment to learn the languages and proximity of numerous dynamic activities for fun.

The two centres belong to the Swiss Education Group (SEG) that were renovated in 2004 (Montreux) and 2006 (Leysin). Students studying Hotel Management occupy them yearlong except during the summertime.

Adapted for teaching, the centres also provide all the hotel schools equipments and services:

Room cleaning once per week with bed linen and towels provided.
Breakfas, lunch and dinner are offered buffet-style. Students are free to refill their plates. A selection of various salad, desserts, fruit and water is also available.

Currency:

Prices are given in CHF and payment should be made in this currency.
Bank charges are not covered by SLC.

Enrolment Fees:

CHF 100.- for each enrolment. The Enrolment fee of CHF 100.- is not charged for siblings.

Cancellations:

Cancellations will be accepted only up to 8 weeks prior to the start of the course by registered mail. An administrative charge of CHF 300.- shall apply. For cancellations less than 8 weeks before course commencement 50% of the fees will be charged.

Min. Numbers:

SLCreserves the right to cancel a programme should the minimum number of students not be reached. SLC would in such a case offer alternative options or a refund.

Behavior/Expulsion:

Students are expected to comply with all SLC rules and regulations. SLC reserves the right to send any student home or to his/her parents or guardian if the student, in the opinion of SLC, is incompatible with the general well-being of the camp through his/her negligence of said rules and regulations. In this case, all extra travel costs would be ther esponsibility of the parent or guardian and no refund of camp fees would be considered.

Activities:

SLC will not be held responsible for any extracurricular activities undertaken by students out of school-hours.

Health/Accident Insurance:

All students need to have a valid health/accident insurance coveringmedical needs in Switzerland. A copy of the student’s insurance shouldbe sent to SLC upon enrolment. Students without valid health/accident insurance or not complying to the above will be insured by SLC with a Swiss insurance at an extra cost of CHF 45.-/week. A deductible of CHF100.- will apply.
